Awwww. Now, how can you pick on those sorts of kids... I want to pinch their widdle cheekies. I wonder how many were in Boy Scouts. (disclaimer: I was in high school band for two years, and my brother and father are Eagle Scouts. AND were in high school band themselves. I know whatof I speak.)
Oh, Kate, believe me. I also know what I am talking about. I was in band for three years, would have been four if it would've fit my schedule my senior year. The people I'm talking about here are not the ones that are in the band for music's sake. I'll say no more, since I might want to make a real post about the phenomenon later.
And YAY!!! My first spam comment! I'm so happy! THank you anonymous!
I must be growing up because when I saw your picture I thought "oh, poor kids, they just want to fit in" rather then, "Oh I bet they are so annoying" which the high school me would have thought.
I guess that's the beauty of high school band. It gives these kids a place of their own to fit in. Although that can make it kind of hard on the normal people in band. ALso, I think you're a bigger person than I am. I still think they're annoying.
Okay Schuyler, what's with the angst this week??? You should leave work now and go for a couple of margaritas! (Of course, I'm finishing my second glass of wine as I speak so I might just be in a "can't we all just get along?" kind of mood.)
Loved your comments about the illegal immigrants. Nice to meet a compassionate person in the blogsosphere. I'll bookmark your page and read you once in a while. :)
Well, actually, if I want to remove a spam comment (which it was) all I have to do is click on the little trash can. Anybody can do it on their own blog. See, I'm not as cool as you thought.

Your blog made me laugh (in a good way).

Oh, shoot! I forgot to distribute the memo! This is international blogger angst week. No, wait. That's every week.
