Kirby Puckett died yesterday, can you believe it? This sucks. I loved that guy back when he WAS the Twins franchise. I even had a poster of him on my wall. Oh well.
I guess now I'll never get the chance to meet him and tell him thanks for starring in the second most memorable baseball-watching moment of my life: game 6 of the 1991 World Series. If you don't know what happened, just google it, I'm sure you can find something. The first most exciting moment, of course, was game 5 of the 1995 ALCS. Nothing will top that, ever.
RIP Kirby, we miss you already.

Yeah, this is sad. Damn, 44 is too young. What a great story back in the 90's, the small market team makin' it big.
