it means steve jobs is a friggin genius for building an OS that was chip-independent - and outmaneuvering motorola who thought they had apple locked into their chip design and could sit on their slothful ass and build chips that run hot with slow clock rates (Ghz).
as it turns out OSX could run on an intel chip all along... after steve jobs demo'd this - a number of people figured out how to get OSX running on an intel chip.
this makes me wonder if OSX will threaten microsoft's upcoming vista os... wha hahaha haaa
